Shooting at Emeryville Hyatt House Leaves Man Injured

Emeryville Police Department officers responded to multiple calls of a shooting at the Hyatt House hotel on Saturday evening at 12:46 a.m.

Officers arrived and located a male adult in the lobby with a gunshot wound.

Officers administered first aid and the male was transported to a local hospital. According to EPD, the wound did not appear to be life threatening.

Officers gathered evidence at the scene and the investigation is ongoing. There are no other reported victims and no one is in custody.
