Super Duper Burger is set to finally open their doors to the Emeryville community after first announcing their intent back in August. Locals that have longed for a quality burger establishment at the renovated Food Hall are about to get their wish.

In addition to their signature medium-cooked burgers, Super Duper Burger (SDB) also offers chicken & veggie sandwiches, salads, fries, house made pickles and locally produced beer & wine. Their beef patties are locally sourced from Brandt Farms and they use non-GMO ingredients whenever possible.

SDB’s interior features communal tables and their signature patchwork wood cow art installation.

For a treat, SDB offers Straus Creamery organic shakes as well as soft-serve cones. Their “spiked” shake includes a shot of soju and available for dine-in only.

The 2,600 square foot location adjacent to Paradita Eatery can be accessed via a food hall entrance as well as the main entrance on Shellmound. They will also offer outdoor patio seating.

“We hope to become a go-to staple in this up and coming area of Emeryville for a high quality fast-food burger, born and bred in the Bay Area,” they noted in a media release announcing their opening.

Super Duper employees were busy training in anticipation of their Monday Grand Opening.

Their Emeryville location will be SDB’s third in the East Bay which include Berkeley and Concord. This will mark their 15th location since opening their flagship restaurant in San Francisco’s Castro District in 2010.

The Emeryville location will not offer breakfast items including their signature donuts at least initially.

Super Duper is set to officially open their doors to the public on Monday, February 25th at 10 a.m..
