A few comings & goings at the Bay Street Shopping Center since our last update in June.

OPENINGS:

Shoe Palace

Shoe Palace officially opened their doors a few weeks back. The retailer fills the vacancy left by the former G by Guess location that shuttered years ago.

During the interim, the space had been used by Go! Calendar & Games as well as hosting the temporary offices for the Hyatt Place Hotel.

Timbuk2

Timbuk2 opened their doors July 28th after announcing their intent back in June. The San Francisco born company has expanded their product lineup beyond messenger bags to include travel, duffel, totes and backpacks among others.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile closed their Bay Street location in July (next to EQ3). Customers will need to visit their Oakland Telegraph Avenue or Berkeley San Pablo Avenue locations.

White House Black Market

Fort Myers-based women’s clothing retailer White House Black Market closed a few months back. The nearest location is at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek.

COMING SOON:

Comcast Xfinity Store

Cable provider Comcast will be opening an Xfinity retail location at Bay Street (former site of Charming Charlie which closed earlier this year). The retail stores are part of a 2018 initiative to open more than 50 stores in high-traffic shopping centers across their service footprint.

The stores will offer customers and prospective customers the opportunity to test drive their line-up of products that include mobile, internet, TV and Smart Home products. No timetable for opening has been provided.
