Emeryville Man Killed in tragic motorcycle accident

A sad day for Emeryville as we lost 33-year old resident Daniel Mark Neil II to a horrific motorcycle accident. The crash occurred Thursday at 12:15 p.m. just east of Big Rock in San Rafael when Neil apparently swerved into oncoming traffic coming around a turn and was crushed by a county dump truck. Neil was pronounced dead at the scene. Neil was a freelance Animator and samples of his work can be seen on his blog.

Emeryville man identified as victim in fatal Marin motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist killed Thursday after crashing head-on into a county dump truck on Lucas Valley Road was identified as a 33-year-old Emeryville man.

Assistant Chief Deputy Coroner Keith Boyd identified the victim as Daniel Mark Neil II.

Neil was employed at Telltale Games, a video game company in San Rafael.
