Two Oakland Men arrested for suspected Auto Burglary near Pixar

Emeryville dispatch was notified by Pixar Security that two subjects were looking into vehicles with flashlights at 1250 45th St. Officers responded to the area and located two suspects who both matched the description provided by security.

A name check revealed that the first suspect was on probation for vandalism and that he also had a search clause. A search of the first suspect revealed two iPads and a credit card that did not belong to him. The second suspect also consented to a search, which revealed a registration card and insurance card belonging to a nearby Audi.

Officer checked the area and located two vehicles with broken windows and a window punch tool approximately 50 feet away from where they were stopped. Both were identified by Pixar security.

Oakland residents Holle Andrew Tyler, 20, and Venson Hasani Maliknari, 22, were both placed under arrest and transported to county jail for booking.
