On Wednesday morning, The Emeryville Police Department served two warrants and searched an apartment on the 1100 block of 54th Street in connection with a missing 15-year-old developmentally disabled female from Pleasant Hill. 26-year-old Emeryville resident Jadonna Alfay Thibodeaux and 28-year-old Christopher Crutcher also of Emeryville were both arrested on suspicion of child endangerment, abduction of a minor with intent to prostitute and pimping a minor victim under 16 years old.

According to an EPD press release, these arrests were the result of an investigation that began on April 30th when the Pleasant Hill Police Department contacted the EPD regarding an investigation of a missing juvenile. Pleasant Hill PD had located a phone number for a Christopher Crutcher within the juvenile’s phone records. When detectives called the number to inquire about the missing juvenile, Crutcher denied knowing the missing girl or her whereabouts. Within hours of the call, the juvenile was located at the Pleasant Hill BART Station.

Shortly after being reunited with her family, the juvenile disclosed information about how she met Crutcher on a bus in Contra Costa County and he enticed her to stay with him and his wife for a few days at their Emeryville home. While the victim was staying with the suspects, they allegedly tried to get the juvenile to work for them as a prostitute. Crutcher also allegedly had unlawful sexual intercourse with the juvenile. A semi-automatic Glock pistol with a loaded 30 round magazine was also located in the residence.

28-year-old suspect Christopher Crutcher was arrested and charged with:

  1. It appears the social services has been missing its target to protect the minor(s)
May be she found protection with her so-called abductors.
Is taking care of a disoriented minor becoming a crime of assumed prostitution

  2. The reporting is somewhat unfair, its sounds like from a criminal prosecution point of view in which those two adults may be otherwise ” Homeless ” rescuer ! Is good deed still exist ?
Is the 15 yrs old girl an escapee from a maddening home atmosphere ? did the parents chased her from home and now are conveniently changing their output story ? Was the girl forced into
a sexual conduct leading to become a prostitute ( what else is new with women ) ? Show me the money ? show me the John(s) ? is the guys her age would be ” boyfriend(s) ” and that those older would be classified as Johns or even worse as Rapist ? draw me the age line ?
I could not be but on the defensive when reading this kind of story, this is most uncomfortable if it happens that one or both of those charged people turn out to be people i know !
This is small town and a defamation of character may have an impact on their future livelihood .
