2 mins read

The “Christie Core ” District 3 & 5 areas of E’ville saw a large spike in Auto Burglaries and thefts with “Honda Accords, Civics, and Toyota Corollas” amongst the most popular vehicles for thieves. Bay Street & The East Bay Bridge Shopping Center continue to see the bulk of crimes reported with over 52% of the 156 reported from those Districts (with the addition of a Nordstrom Rack going in near San Pablo Ave, this may be further impacted).

The City of Emeryville is divided into small geographical areas that facilitate the Department’s efforts to tract crime and neighborhood problems, and allocate personnel resources to meet the service need. Crime statistics are reported by the EPD through CrimeReports.com. An archive of monthly crime statistics provided can be viewed on the city website.
