RAPE:
District 3: in the area of the 6400 block of Shellmound St., a rape occurred. The suspect is an acquaintance of the victim.
ROBBERY:
District 1: 63rd/Doyle St., a robbery at gunpoint occurred. LOSS: Purse. Suspects: #1 Hispanic Male, 20-25 years old, 6’2”, 170 lbs., wearing a black hoodie. #2 Hispanic male, 20-25 years old, 6’0”, 160 lbs., wearing a black hoodie.
District 7: CVS Pharmacy, 4349 San Pablo Ave., a juvenile shoplifter exited the store without paying for merchandise, assaulted the store manager, and fled the area. EPD arrested the juvenile shortly thereafter.
District 9: Home Depot, 3838 Hollis St., a shoplifter exited the store without paying for merchandise. Upon contact by Loss Prevention, the suspect attempted to punch the Agent. EPD arrested the suspect shortly thereafter.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:
District 4: Hilton Garden Inn, 1800 Powell St., A female hit her boyfriend on the head with a lamp. EPD arrested the female shortly thereafter.
SIMPLE ASSAULTS:
District 3: Pacific Park Plaza, 6363 Christie Ave., an adult male resident repeatedly dunked a child in the pool as a means of discipline. The adult did not know the child.
District 4: in the Marina area, 3310 Powell St., a mutual combat between husband and wife occurred. In
District 5: AT&T Store, 5691 Bay St., a female slapped another female on the face with an envelope. The victim knows the suspect.
5648 Bay St., a male punched his girlfriend in the stomach. EPD arrested the male shortly thereafter.
5684 Bay St., #512 a physical altercation ensued between two males after a neighbor refused to keep the noise down at a party.
District 7: 40th/Watts Streets, a group of juveniles pushed a cyclist off his bicycle and punched him several times. Suspects: (5) Black male juveniles.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES:
District 1: Bam Labs Inc., 6550 Vallejo St., POE: Window. LOSS: Several computers and cell phones.
District 2: Bureau 510, 5800 Hollis St., POE: Front door – Glass break. LOSS: None.
District 5: Sunglass Hut, 5673 Bay St., three females entered the store, selected several pairs of sunglasses and fled to an awaiting vehicle. Suspects: (4) Black females, 20-25 years old. LOSS: (8) Pairs of sunglasses.
H&M, 5630 Bay St., two suspects stole a victim’s purse from the Gap 5690 Bay St, and made fraudulent purchases on the victim’s credit cards at H&M. EPD arrested the suspects shortly thereafter. Suspects: (2) Black females 29-30 years old.
District 7: Oaks Card Club, 4097 San Pablo Ave., a male presented a stolen Identification and credit card to obtain cash. LOSS: $3000. Suspect: White male, 30-40 years old.
District 8: 4000 Adeline St. (Construction Site), an unknown suspect stole multiple tools from a tool container.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY:
District 2: 51 Glashaus Loop, POE: Front door – Door handle loose. LOSS: Paperwork and a compact disc.
1348 Powell St., POE: Garage. LOSS: Specialized Dolce Comp bicycle, white and green, serial #WSBC601018165I.
The Terraces, 5855 Horton St., POE: Garage – Cyclone fence cut. LOSS: None.
District 8: 4015 Adeline St., #A, the resident went outside to empty the trash, upon returning he saw an unknown suspect leaving his residence. POE: Front door – Unlocked. LOSS: Cell phone and iPad Mini. Suspect: Black male, 5’6”, 40-50 years old, wearing a red cap, a plaid shirt and a black messenger bag over his shoulder.
3619 Peralta St., POE: Rear window – Glass break. LOSS: Laptop, camera, and camera lens.
AUTO THEFT:
Honda Accords were popular this month. Additionally, there was a slight increase in motorcycle thefts. (6) Vehicles were recovered, (3) of which were recovered intact, (1) vehicle had major stripping, (1) vehicle was damaged and stripped, and (1) vehicle was damaged.
ARSON:
District 8: Temescal Creek Park, 1000 48th St., (47th St entrance walkway) three to four unknown suspects set the grass on fire and fled the area. A neighbor, nearby, extinguished the fire with a water hose.
