Emeryville PD closed the strip of 47th to traffic and conducted temporary evacuations of adjacent homes. The fire was reported to be contained about an hour later but the strip of 47th will remain closed while Firefighters secure the properties and complete their investigation.

Since this is breaking news, we will update this story as new information becomes available.
