Thank you for visiting The E’ville Eye Community News. We set out over two years ago with the goal of being a community resource for Emeryville and the adjacent communities by spotlighting happenings & initiating important conversations. Our humble beginnings as a personal blog have evolved into a full-featured news site through dedication, contributions and a lot of time & hard work. In this time, we’ve seen our pageviews more than double with every progressive year. The trajectory of The E’ville Eye is clearly pointing up! Our audience and traffic continue to grow with every post and the interest of the community have helped make The E’ville Eye not only the top Google-ranked Emeryville blog, but also the top-ranked Google Search news site for Emeryville:

While revenue has never been the primary goal of the site, the reality is that there are costs involved including hosting, advertising and (hopefully soon) paying contributors. Would you like to support citizen-journalism, align with residents and help perpetuate this sites evolution into the objective community resource that we’re striving to be? Now you can!

Subscribe/Donate

If you enjoy the news and commentary that we strive to bring, you can make a reoccurring, monthly donation with your credit card or PayPal account  (Sorry, we are not a registered Non-profit yet so this is not tax-deductible).

available for advertising. Both are available at a cost of $100 per month throughout 2014. Analytics on ad clicks can be provided upon request. If you are a business or organization interested in advertising on The E’ville Eye, please Email Us or contact us through this form to get more details about our ad packages.

Write/Contribute

We’re currently scouting for voices to represent other segments of our city that need exposure including Seniors, Parents, Fiscal Oversight, History, Crime, etc. If you have a knack for writing and are passionate about any aspects of our city, please inquire. Even if you’re not comfortable with writing, you can be a valuable asset to your community by providing tips for stories or just commenting.

Engage with us

Besides advertising, donating or contributing, you can make an impact just by subscribing, commenting and connecting with us through our various social media channels including Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.

Our Goal: Advocate, Inform & Entertain

Our mission is simple: To create dialogue and discourse outside of the council chambers. Through this collective voice, we will advocate for residents and demand the attention of the political & business leaders of our city. We want to provide a resource for our community to share, interact & connect with each other. Something our little city of 1.2 square miles and 10,000 residents can rally around. Something that will get more residents involved and get more people to act in our best interests. Something that will bring pride to being … an “E’villain”!
