The Public Market is slowly filling out with the grand opening of two more establishments last week. Mayo & Mustard opened on Tuesday after being in the works for over a year and Oui Oui Macaron opened last weekend. Next up is We Sushi which appears to be making progress but no date has been provided.
Mayo & Mustard
Mayo & Mustard signed its lease back in September of 2015 and soft-opened for lunch service on Tuesday. For Mayo & Mustard, this completes their gradual transition from food truck to brick & mortar location. Mayo & Mustard offers delicious hot deli-style sandwiches with classics like the Classic Pastrami & Turkey, Meatball Mafia & Buffalo Chicken.
The Mayo & Mustard menu will be similar to the truck’s menu but they’ll be adding a few new sandwiches including some additional breakfast & dinner offerings. Mayo & Mustard plans to continue operating their mobile trucks providing daily lunch and catering services.

Oui Oui Macaron
Oui Oui announced their intent to open at the Public Market back in April and opened last weekend (light speed for what we’ve come to expect!). Oui Oui is set up in a 300 sq. ft. shipping container kiosk adjacent to Koja Kitchen. Oui Oui also owns a Daly City location.
They tout 18 different flavors of Macarons including exotic flavors like Blackberry Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Hazelnut and Red Velvet. They also serve Ice Cream Sandwiches and are currently taking Thanksgiving preorders for homemade Pecan Pie.

We Sushi has only one mechanical final scheduled early next week and they should be open by Friday.
