“The Prizefighter” bar to open at former Kitty’s location

1 min read

I was a bit bummed when I first heard of Kitty’s closing it’s doors back in August. Kitty’s may have run its course but the fact is that the space itself was quite nice and Emeryville has so few adult entertainment options. Kitty’s will be reincarnated as a new “World-Class bar in a casual and fun environment” with bloodlines connecting it to notable SF establishments; Bourbon & Branch, Bloodhound & Churchill. Set to open in mid-november, The Prizefighter will feature the standard cocktails, beer & wine but also unique items like Mezcal, “soda fountain” drinks (with alcohol), punch & sangria by the pitcher. Decor will include dive-bar staples such as a shuffleboard table and bites provided by partnerships with to be determined east-bay food trucks. I look forward to Emeryville being fun again! | Alcademics.com »
