Love Our Neighborhood Day Instagram Gallery

1 min read

What a great event for our communities on Saturday and what better way to relive it than a gallery of photos curated by the Instagram community (Note: Not all hashtag filtered photos will be relevant to Saturday’s event). From all indications, Love our Neighborhood Day was a complete success and the organizers are optimistic it will become an annual event. There were of course a few vocal critiques who didn’t feel like they were given enough notice and were inconvenienced but hopefully they understand the “big picture” of community-building and bike & pedestrian safety awareness. Contact your local politicians and tell them about your own experience with Open Streets and Love Our Neighborhood Day! Email Emeryville Mayor Jac Asher or Oakland District 1 Councilmember Dan Kalb.
