Welcome to the beginning of what I’m hoping will one day become an indispensable component to our growing neighborhood. My ambition is to provide a forum for residents of our community to share, interact and connect with each other. The idea arrived last year when I was robbed at gunpoint in our neighborhood and I was frustrated by my inability to alert everyone to be more vigilante. Participation in our Yahoo! group had waned and unfortunately the dialogue for our HOA Newsletter was not interactive enough. There simply was no vehicle to communicate with our entire neighborhood. is a third generation Californian and East Bay native who lived in Emeryville from 2003 to 2021. Rob founded The E'ville Eye in 2011 after being robbed at gunpoint and lamenting the lack of local news coverage. Rob's "day job" is as a creative professional.
